Corporate Travel, MICE, and Destination Management Company

Head of Sales & Marketing

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

Define and execute annual & quarterly sales strategies aligned with company goals.

Drive new corporate acquisitions (SMEs, MNCs, Startups) across Travel & MICE segments.

Own revenue targets, profitability, forecasting, and sales pipeline management.

Build strategic partnerships with corporates, vendors, hotels, airlines, and event partners.

Lead high-value negotiations and close key enterprise accounts.

2. Marketing & Brand Strategy

Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies (digital, B2B, content, events).

Strengthen brand positioning in Corporate Travel & MICE markets.

Oversee lead generation campaigns, CRM funnels, and conversion metrics.

Guide content strategy for proposals, presentations, social media, and website.

Track ROI on marketing spends and optimize acquisition costs.

3. Team Management & Capability Building

Build, mentor, and manage Sales, BD, and Marketing teams (field + inside sales).

Set KPIs, targets, incentive structures, and performance review frameworks.

Drive a culture of accountability, client-centricity, and high performance.

Conduct regular training on consultative selling, negotiations, and solutions selling.

4. Client Relationship & Key Account Management

Act as the escalation point for strategic and key corporate clients.

Ensure long-term client retention, cross-selling, and upselling.

Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and partnerships.

5. Business Strategy & Market Expansion

Identify new markets, verticals, and service offerings.

Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and pricing strategy inputs.

Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Leadership on growth initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and people management skills

Proven expertise in B2B corporate sales & marketing

Deep understanding of Corporate Travel, MICE, or Event Management industry

Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Data-driven decision-making and CRM proficiency

Qualification & Experience

MBA / PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management (preferred)

1015+ years of experience in Sales & Marketing leadership roles

Minimum 5+ years in Corporate Travel / MICE / Hospitality / Events industry

Demonstrated track record of achieving aggressive revenue targets
