Head of Project Management

As a Project Management Head at GM Level, your main responsibility will be to lead high-value capital and infrastructure projects, particularly focusing on greenfield and brownfield plant setups. You will be in charge of overseeing project delivery from the initial conceptualization and design phase to the final execution and commissioning stage, reporting directly to the CEO. Key Responsibilities: - Lead greenfield/brownfield chemical plant projects, ensuring timely delivery within the allocated budget. - Manage the entire project lifecycle, including coordination with EPC partners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment with technical and business objectives. - Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards as well as statutory regulations. - Establish project governance structures, maintain documentation, and implement risk mitigation frameworks. - Provide regular project updates to the CEO and Board. Candidate Requirements: - Education: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT (mandatory), MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution (preferred). - Possess 15-20 years of experience in project management, preferably within the chemical manufacturing industry or with EPC companies. - Demonstrated expertise in managing greenfield projects with significant capital investment. - Strong technical acumen, adept at stakeholder management, and excellent leadership abilities. Preferred Background: - Prior experience in specialty chemicals, bromine derivatives, or large-scale EPC projects. - Track record of successfully managing multi-disciplinary teams and intricate vendor ecosystems.
