Position Title: Sr. Manager IT Infra / AGM IT Infra
Location: Noida
Requirement Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee and maintain our enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise across networking, security, servers, data centers, cloud services, IT asset and service management, governance, vendor relations, backup and recovery, and security compliance. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, security, and strategic growth of the organisations IT landscape.
JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Networking and Security
- Design, implement, and monitor network infrastructure for performance and security.
- Develop and enforce security protocols, including firewall, VPN, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Manage cybersecurity threats and mitigate risks.
- Manage our WAN, LAN, SAN and EDI computer platforms, while looking for ways to grow our networks in a cost-effective way to meet future needs.
Servers, Data Centre Co-locations, and Cloud Services
- Oversee deployment, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers.
- Manage the hosting of companys ERP and other allied business applications, ensure maximum uptime and availability, coordinate with respective vendors for issue resolutions, bug fixes, change requests, updates, and upgrades.
- Lead cloud infrastructure management (AWS, Azure, etc.), including migration, security, and cost optimization.
- Plan and execute disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for these environments.
IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Maintain accurate inventory of all hardware and software assets.
- Implement lifecycle management policies for procurement, deployment, upgrades, and decommissioning.
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
- Oversee provisioning, maintenance, and upgrades of desktops, laptops, mobiles, and other end-user devices.
- Provide support to ensure seamless and secure user experiences.
- Adopt and oversee ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) to streamline incident, problem, change, and request management processes.
- Ensure service delivery meets organizational requirements and standards.
IT Governance, Policies, and Standards
- Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks aligning with business objectives.
- Develop, implement, and audit IT policies and standards to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Ensure all software usage complies with licensing agreements.
- Manage and audit software licenses to prevent non-compliance.
- Coordinate security standards compliance (ISO, SOC, etc.).
- Develop cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Vendor and Supplier Management
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and SLAs.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure service quality and compliance.
Data Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Recovery Planning
- Develop and maintain comprehensive backup and data recovery procedures.
- Regularly test disaster recovery plans and update them to ensure business resilience.
- Coordinate with business continuity plans to minimize operational disruptions.
Security Standards and Certifications (ISO, SOC, etc.)
- Ensure ongoing compliance with security standards aligned with industry best practices.
- Prepare the organisation for certifications like ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other relevant security attestations.
- Prepare for audits and ensure ongoing compliance with security standards.
EXPECTED CANDIDATE PROFILE:
The ideal candidate shall be one who shall meet the below criteria.
Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Masters preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, governance, and security roles.
- Expertise in networking, security, servers, cloud solutions, and data centers.
- Proven ability in vendor management, ITSM, and compliance management.
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
- Hands-on experience in managing Windows, Linux OS.
- Strong understanding of information security and privacy standards and best practices related to data confidentiality.
- Aptitude to learn newer software applications and technologies.
Preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO, SOC, AWS/Azure) are a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Excellent conflict resolution, prioritisation, and critical thinking abilities
- Experience of working in a manufacturing company in a similar role
