As the Head of Financials and Headcount Management at HSBC, your role will involve the effective leadership and management of the FS&GEC COO Financial and Headcount Management team in Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangalore. You will be responsible for various activities, including providing dedicated support to the leadership team on business management, managing costs such as FRP, forecasting, and cost reporting consistency, as well as overseeing headcounts, workforce planning, and job architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Manage, lead, and inspire the team to enable their activities - Evolve the team and its organizational design in alignment with the functions strategic direction - Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders in FS&GEC - Analyze and review processes, identifying automation and simplification opportunities - Represent FS&GEC COO in local and global governance forums - Own the end-to-end process for Financial and Headcount Management activities in FS&GEC In terms of qualifications, you should possess: - Strategic mindset and experience in leadership positions - Experience in senior governance forums and handling auditors - Strong written and oral communication skills - Capability in financial management, workforce planning, and hiring controls - Proven track record of driving re-engineering and process synergies - Ability to work under pressure and report to tight deadlines - Strong people skills and motivation - Commercial mindset with problem-solving skills - Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changes At HSBC, we value diversity and encourage individuals with diverse backgrounds to apply.
