Head - Mergers & Acquisitions

As the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at a leading Investment Banking Firm, your role involves strategic leadership, deal origination, transaction execution, client coordination, deal structuring, and team leadership & development. You will be responsible for leading the origination and execution of M&A transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, and joint ventures. Your strategic leadership will drive the direction of the M&A division, ensuring alignment with the firm's goals and client needs. Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior executives, private equity firms, institutional investors, and corporate clients will be crucial for identifying and securing new business opportunities. Your key responsibilities include: - Lead the origination and execution of M&A transactions - Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders - Identify target companies and assess market conditions - Manage all aspects of the M&A process - Oversee financial modelling, valuation analysis, and due diligence efforts - Lead negotiations with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution - Ensure regulatory compliance in all transactions - Coordinate with clients for information requirements and closure - Provide high-level advisory services to clients - Represent the firm in external forums and events - Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing M&A team - Coordinate activities of junior bankers, analysts, and associates - Foster a collaborative and client-focused culture within the team Qualifications Required: - 14+ years of experience in Mergers and Acquisitions - Exposure in managing large size deals and deal origination/sourcing - Strong leadership and strategic planning skills - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities - In-depth knowledge of financial modelling and due diligence processes - Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders - Experience in team management and development This role offers the opportunity to lead high-profile M&A transactions, drive strategic initiatives, and mentor a talented team towards success.,
