Job Purpose

To lead and drive the strategic direction, growth, and profitability of SAVA s International Business across regulated and emerging markets. The role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in pharmaceutical business development, strong global networks, and deep understanding of CMO/CDMO operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead international business development and sales with focus on global expansion and customer acquisition.
  • Strategically manage and expand business presence in regulated markets (Europe, US) and emerging regions (RoW, Asia, Africa).
  • Lead commercial strategy, including sales, marketing, and partner alliances, ensuring achievement of revenue and profitability goals.
  • Take complete PL ownership for all International Business Units, ensuring financial and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Regulatory Affairs, RD, and Manufacturing to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive intelligence to shape strategic initiatives.
  • Drive a high-performance culture by leading, mentoring, and motivating international business teams across geographies.

Required Experience Qualifications

  • 15-20 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong focus on International Business and CDMO/CMO/CRO domains.
  • Demonstrated success in managing global operations, business development, and customer relationship management across Europe, the US, and other strategic markets.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and commercial landscapes across multiple international geographies.
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business Management.
