Head Information Technology (IT) - Business Solutions (India Business)

As the Head Business Solutions for the India Business, you will be responsible for owning all the Technology related requirements, design, development, and delivery for the Projects vertical. You will collaborate closely with Projects business stakeholders to understand their technology needs, align IT strategy with business objectives, and deliver technology solutions that drive high business value. Your role will involve providing strategic guidance to the business from a technology standpoint and ensuring effective communication between IT and the business. Your key responsibilities will include: - Driving IT strategy and policy initiatives within the Projects & Development vertical based on an extensive understanding of the function and its technology landscape. - Monitoring ROI of technology investment in India business (Project, Development, and Sales) and driving initiatives to maximize ROI. - Developing and managing budgets for all application-related projects and initiatives to ensure sound return on investment. - Identifying opportunities for business process improvement by analyzing workflows and processes and leveraging core and non-core technologies to drive operational efficiency, cost savings, and business growth. - Staying updated with industry trends and leading practices in emerging technologies to keep India Business at the forefront of technology adoption. You will also be required to: - Serve as the primary point of contact for the business by understanding, assessing, and prioritizing technology needs based on business value and feasibility. - Collaborate with business leaders to understand goals, objectives, and challenges and translate them into IT strategies and initiatives for alignment and value creation. - Drive end-to-end solution development and implementation through internal stakeholders or third-party development teams while ensuring project planning, timelines, and budget adherence. - Coordinate with vendors and service delivery teams to establish effective support processes to address and resolve application-related issues and user queries. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will need to possess the following qualifications: - MCA/MSc./BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Large Technology Category/Products Management experience is a plus. - 15+ years of relevant experience in partnering, understanding, and translating business requirements into IT solutions for a leading manufacturing/project organization with diverse business units. Extensive knowledge of the technology landscape in the area of Project Execution and experience in identifying and managing business" technology needs are essential for this role.,
