Job Description

The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for driving the strategic and operational HR initiatives of the organization. The role involves managing the complete employee lifecycle, overseeing manpower planning and deployment, and leading the design and implementation of performance management frameworks, including KRA-KI mapping, FII mapping, and skill matrix development to ensure alignment with business goals.

Role & responsibilities

Strategic HR Management

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the companys business goals.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify HR priorities and develop plans to address them.
  • Oversee workforce planning and organizational structure optimization.

Manpower Planning & Handling

  • Forecast and manage manpower requirements across departments.
  • Ensure timely recruitment, onboarding, and deployment of talent.
  • Lead initiatives to improve employee productivity and retention.

Performance Management (KRA & KI Mapping)

  • Design, implement, and manage a robust performance appraisal system.
  • Define and monitor Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Initiatives (KIs) across roles.
  • Ensure periodic performance evaluations are fair, transparent, and developmental.

FII (Functional Individual Index) Mapping

  • Develop and apply FII frameworks to measure individual contribution against functional goals.
  • Integrate FII metrics with appraisal and reward systems.
  • Guide managers in interpreting FII data for development and decision-making.

Skill Matrix & Capability Building

  • Create and maintain a comprehensive skill matrix across departments.
  • Identify skill gaps and design upskilling/reskilling initiatives.
  • Collaborate with L&D to deliver targeted training and development programs.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Drive initiatives to promote a high-performance and inclusive work culture.
  • Manage employee relations, grievance redressal, and conflict resolution.
  • Implement HR best practices and compliance with labour laws.
