Job Description

Position Title: Head Exhibition Operations Department: Trade Fairs Reports to: Head of Department Trade Fairs Team Reporting to This Role: Operations Team Role Overview: Responsible for end-to-end operational execution of exhibitions and future trade shows across India. This role is central to delivering world-class event experiences while ensuring strategic alignment with the organization’s business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Lead all operational functions related to exhibitions across India – from planning to post-event closure. Design and implement operations strategies aligned with Trade Fair business goals and long-term organizational vision. Drive initiatives to enhance brand visibility and operational excellence at all events and exhibitions. Oversee all on-ground operational components including: Stall construction and finishing Exhibit logistics (set-up & dismantle) Registration, shuttle services, signage, and fair guides Engineering services, food courts, parking, and facility readiness Government approvals, vendor management, and on-site logistics Mentor and develop the operations team; build high-performance capabilities and accountability. Collaborate with internal teams (facility, design, communication, etc.) to ensure seamless execution at international standards. Introduce and implement best practices from the global exhibitions/events industry. Support the Trade Fairs team in stall planning, exhibitor directory compilation, and coordination with domestic/international trade bodies and associations. Monitor and report on key metrics including PDCA cycles, risk assessment, health & safety compliance, and periodic review audits. Ensure adherence to IMS (Integrated Management System) guidelines and manage internal/external audits. Qualifications: Graduate degree required; MBA preferred. Experience: Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in operations for exhibitions/trade fairs/events. Key Skills & Competencies: Proven track record in managing large-scale exhibitions and event operations. Strong leadership with a collaborative and motivational style. High emotional intelligence with strong sense of ownership and accountability. Excellent project management and vendor coordination skills. Fluent in written and spoken communication; ability to represent the organization externally. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet research, and document preparation. contact 9341626895
