Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Engineer located in Thane. The Head Engineer will oversee the planning, design, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety standards, and project timelines. Responsibilities include supervising engineering teams, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, reviewing technical designs and plans, and addressing on-site challenges effectively. The role also involves the implementation of innovative solutions for better construction processes and improved outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Civil Engineering principles including structural design, project planning, and materials management
• Experience in project management, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Familiarity with construction-specific software and tools such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or similar
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage budgets, estimate costs, and optimize resource allocation
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Prior experience in residential, commercial, or redevelopment projects is an advantage
• Knowledge of sustainable and innovative building practices is a plus

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Engineer to lead our engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in high-rise building construction (30+ storeys) using MI-One technology and other modern construction methods. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing large-scale projects from planning to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all engineering and construction activities for high-rise projects.

Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely completion.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality control procedures.

Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Implement innovative construction technologies including MI-One technology.

Manage budgets, resources, and manpower effectively.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 10+ years of experience in civil/construction engineering.

Proven experience in construction of 30+ storey buildings.

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with MI-One technology in construction.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Experience: 10+ years (High-rise construction preferred)
