Head - Customs House Brokerage (CHB)

Role Overview: As a strategic member of the PSA BDP team, you will be responsible for designing and developing customs clearance and trade product services in alignment with the company's growth vision. Your role will involve managing the Custom Brokerage business at a pan India level, ensuring effective management of trade compliances and custom compliances, setting up service level agreements and KPIs, and collaborating with the commercial organization for new customer acquisition. You will lead a team of custom clearance and trade compliances professionals, overseeing their functions and working closely with stakeholders across various regions to enhance customer engagement and deliver industry-specific presentations. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop customs clearance & trade product leading services - Manage the Custom Brokerage business at pan India level - Ensure effective management of trade compliances and custom compliances - Set up service level agreement and KPI for custom clearance - Grow custom clearance and trade compliance business across India - Collaborate with commercial organization for new customer acquisition - Oversee customs brokerage team in performing assigned customs and compliance functions - Lead team of custom clearance and trade compliances on Pan India level - Work closely with stakeholders across product and industrial verticals for customer engagement - Keep updated on latest Circulars/Notifications and Trade Notice on Customs Qualifications Required: - Graduation/Post Graduation MBA in supply chain management is a plus - Post-graduation in Supply & Chain Management disciplines preferred - 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in custom brokerage and trade management - Result-oriented professional with extensive experience in Custom Clearance & Trade Compliance - Experienced in handling various customs clearance processes and compliances - Good communication, presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills - Team player with adaptability and go-getter attitude - Knowledge of CRM & IT tools - Any additional certification related to sales or logistics industry would be beneficial (Note: Any additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.),
