Job Summary

Head Cashier

Experience - 3 to 5 Years

• Oversee all cash transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Ensure accuracy in handling cash, checks, and electronic transactions.
• Monitor and reconcile cash registers at the end of each shift.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and handling customer complaints related to transactions.
• Train cashiers to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with customers.
• Prepare and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Reconcile cash registers and report any discrepancies to management.
• Monitor and manage the cash flow to ensure there is an adequate amount of change available.

Order and manage the replenishment of cash as needed.

• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant cash management technologies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in cashier or cash management roles, preferably in the textile industry.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
