Head Cashier

Key Responsibilities

Supervision and Management:

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of cashiers.
• Create and manage cashier schedules and assignments.
• Provide feedback and performance evaluations for the cashier team.
• Ensure all cashiers adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Financial and Cash Handling:

• Oversee all cash transactions, including opening and closing registers.
• Conduct daily cash counts and reconcile cash drawers.
• Prepare bank deposits.
• Maintain the security and accuracy of all cash funds and registers.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or accounting issues to management.

Customer Service:

• Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve complex transaction issues.
• Ensure high standards of customer service are met by the entire team.
• Assist customers with inquiries, returns, and exchanges.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient checkout area.

Operational and Administrative:

• Assist in store operations, especially in the absence of a store manager.
• Generate and analyze reports related to sales, cash flow, and discrepancies.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as inventory tracking and setting up promotions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,500.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
