Job Description

As a Licensing and Acquisitions Manager at EPD India, your primary role will be to drive top-line growth, market share, and division margin through Licensing and Acquisitions (L&A). You will contribute to EPD India's growth goals by introducing new products annually and managing the entire L&A lifecycle for the region. Your responsibilities will include scouting L&A deals across major therapy areas, managing existing alliances, and partnerships with an estimated annual sales of $70 MM. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and screen L&A opportunities in priority therapy areas aligned with EPD India's strategy - Build a strong pipeline of deals by establishing contacts with potential partners and key industry personnel - Develop business cases, including sales forecasts, financials, and strategic rationale, and obtain necessary approvals - Negotiate contracts, lead due diligence processes, and ensure successful contract formalities - Manage post-deal integration, roll out products, and execute progress monitoring of deals - Oversee alliance management, including quarterly financial reporting, governance, resource procurement, and contract renewals/amendments Qualification Required: - Education: Graduate in Science/Pharmacy, MBA/PGDBA in Sales and Marketing - Experience: 8+ years in licensing and business development OR 4+ years in top-tier Management Consulting - Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, strategic thinking, financial acumen, and negotiation skills - Ability to lead through ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and work effectively with cross-functional teams In this role, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, including VP EPD India, GMs, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, Medical, EPO, and global L&A teams. You will need to be externally oriented, analytical, results-oriented, and possess strong influencing skills to drive EPD India's growth objectives. Your success will depend on your ability to be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and adept at working with external stakeholders in India and globally. You will be responsible for managing national account managers and key account managers, totaling 8 members. Your role will be crucial in contributing to EPD India's growth trajectory and maintaining successful partnerships and acquisitions.,
