As a Head Barista at our coffee bar, your role is crucial in leading the team to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality beverages. Your passion for coffee and leadership skills will be key in mentoring and guiding the baristas to success. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve high-quality beverages such as espresso-based drinks, coffee, and tea with precision and expertise. - Develop a deep understanding of coffee brewing methods, flavor profiles, and presentation styles to ensure top-notch beverages. - Lead, train, and mentor a team of baristas, offering guidance on beverage preparation, customer service, and outlet operations. - Cultivate a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork among the team members. - Uphold exceptional customer service standards by handling complaints professionally and implementing strategies to enhance customer experience and loyalty. - Assist in managing outlet operations, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness to ensure smooth operations. - Conduct regular quality checks on beverages to maintain consistency and high standards, implementing improvements as needed. - Manage inventory efficiently by ordering, storing, and rotating coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies. Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Barista or in a similar role. - Profound knowledge of coffee brewing methods, flavor profiles, and presentation styles. - Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively guide and mentor the team. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and deliver exceptional customer service. - Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and dedication to customer satisfaction. Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in coffee brewing or barista skills (e.g., SCA, Barista Guild) is a plus. - Experience in inventory management and outlet operations would be beneficial. - Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills is advantageous.
