Job Description

Role Overview: As the Applications Manager, your primary responsibility is to act as the lead technical products liaison for the customer. You will analyze the needs of the customer to offer reasonable and efficient product design/development engineering solutions. Your role will involve coordinating product materials, manufacturing processes, testing, quality assurance, project management, and troubleshooting to ensure successful project development and release. Additionally, you will manage the CAE team and work with associated departments to efficiently bring new products to market while focusing on improving customer satisfaction and business retention. Your advanced technical knowledge will be crucial in providing technical assistance, coaching, and mentoring to other group members. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the daily activities of the Technical Sales Engineers (TSEs) by providing technical support, leadership, and mentoring on a daily basis. - Ensure all quotations are done uniformly throughout the department and in accordance with company standards. - Drive new product commercialization projects by identifying and eliminating obstacles, establishing clear tasks for the team, and providing credible timetables to customers. - Support technical inquiries of customers, recommend suitable hot runner systems, respond to technical queries, and keep customers and sales representatives informed. - Review technical documents, quick start guides, and configuration documents for accuracy and recommend improvements. - Supervise personnel, define work assignments, manage overtime goals, and evaluate employee performance. - Keep up-to-date with technological developments related to hot runner systems by attending training courses and industry meetings. - Ensure compliance with Health and Safety programs and ISO guidelines. Qualifications Required: - University Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 12 years related experience or CIPET/NTTF with a minimum of 15 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience with SAP or an ERP system is preferred. - Minimum 4 to 5 years" experience in Hot Runner system development. - Minimum 4-5 years" experience in a leadership role. - Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent organizational skills. - Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports, and communicate effectively with employees, management, and customers. - Demonstrated ability to manage program strategies, analyze new business activity, and cultivate positive relationships with customers.
