Hardware & Networking Engineer

Position: System Administrator

Job Location: Kelvin Jute Ltd., Titagarh (Near to Barrackpore), West Bengal.

System Administrator would be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for Hardware & Networking issues, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, peripherals, and network devices. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware / network related problems, maintaining hardware inventory, and providing timely and effective support to end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hardware Troubleshooting and Repair:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• OS / Software / Printer Installation & Upgradation of Drivers.
• Perform repairs, replacements, and upgrades on various hardware components.
• Resolve issues related to hardware performance, connectivity, and compatibility.

Technical Support:

• Provide all level technical support to end-users in-person till the issue is resolved.
• Assist users in resolving hardware-related problems, including system crashes, data recovery, and hardware malfunctions.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in hardware support or a related technical support role.
• Experience with hardware / networking troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.

Skills:

• Experience of Core Networking (Router, Switch, RF Device, WIFI AP) installation, configuration & troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware components and peripherals.
• Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware issues.
• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows) and software installation.
• Familiarity with network configurations and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of CCTV will be preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
