Avantari is a looking for a bright and enthusiastic hardware design engineer to design the hardware for our company’s flagship devices. We require an engineer who has experience developing products from the ground up, through the full development cycle from specifications to transfer to manufacture. The engineer must be selfmotivated and must be proactive. He must assist in all prototyping and must also sit in design meetings with the industrial designers and engineers to map out the structure for the hardware. The engineer must be skilled in Electronics and must have atleast a diploma in Electronic Engineering. The job will be in Hyderabad, and suitable candidates will be interviewed by phone or Skype, possibly followed up by an in-person interview. Salary will be roughly ₹3,00,000 to ₹5,00,000 All interested candidates, please email your resume/CV to bhairav@avantari.org Responsibilities Take charge of product development , with responsibility for electronic and electrical aspects of the product, including requirements management, detailed circuitry design, prototyping, verification, and testing . PCB design Assist in firmware development including DSP and power management . Assist in sourcing of components and liaising with manufacturers . Support compliance with regulatory and quality requirements . Develop design documentation. Desired Skills and Experience Requirements Ready to take on a challenge and learn new skills as needed. Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or similar. Experience with requirements development, design, simulation, prototyping, testing, development, and release of products. Ability to lay out PCB designs. Knowledge of Electronic CAD software, such as Altium or Pads Pro Experience in real-time hardware/software interfacing and design issues, especially interfaces to sensors and power management. Experience in quality and reliability testing Excellent design documentation skills. Bonus points for any of the following Working knowledge of C/C++ and/or assembly language for work with microprocessors. Familiarity with analogue and digital signal processing. Familiarity with design drafting and CAD software Knowledge of Communication technology Experience in sourcing components. Experience working within strict size, budget and power constraints.
