Job Description

Industry & Sector:

InsurTech / Insurance core systems and IT services focused on Guidewire implementations, integrations, and testing for life, P&C, and commercial insurance clients. We deliver end-to-end quality assurance for large-scale policy, billing, and claims platforms across enterprise programs in India and APAC.

Primary title:

Guidewire Test EngineerRole & Responsibilities

Design, plan and execute functional, integration, system (SIT) and user-acceptance (UAT) test cycles for Guidewire modules (Policy/Billing/Claims).
Develop and maintain automated regression and smoke test suites using Guidewire Testing Framework and Selenium WebDriver where applicable.
Create and maintain test artifacts: test cases, test data, traceability matrices, test execution reports and sign-off checklists.
Author and review Gosu-based validation scripts and SQL queries to verify business rules, data integrity and batch processes.
Perform API testing for SOAP and REST integrations, log defects in JIRA, and collaborate with developers and integrators to validate fixes and retests.
Support release activities: environment readiness, test automation in CI/CD pipelines, and post-release verification to minimise production risk.
