Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Guest Service Associate at our Ooty location. The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This role ensures a welcoming environment that meets organizational standards and enhances guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities- Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas. - Change linens, replenish amenities, and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies. - Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols in all tasks. - Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors. - Support laundry operations including washing, ironing, and folding as required. - Assist in special cleaning projects (deep cleaning, seasonal upkeep). - Uphold confidentiality and respect guest privacy at all times. - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth housekeeping operations. Skills & Competencies- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness. - Time management and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. - Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures. - Strong teamwork and communication skills. - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and handle equipment. Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience is Required- Training in hygiene and safety standards desirable.
