Guest Service Associate - F&B Service

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Service:

• Greet and seat guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Present the menu, make recommendations, and take food & beverage orders accurately.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently following service standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them during their dining experience.
• Handle guest complaints politely and report to the supervisor when required.

2. Operations:

• Set up tables according to service standards (mise-en-place).
• Clear tables promptly and reset them for the next service.
• Assist in buffet setup and ensure proper presentation.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar for timely order delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant area at all times.

3. Teamwork and Coordination:

• Work as part of the service team to ensure smooth operations.
• Support senior staff and new joiners with training and guidance.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen, stewarding, and other departments.

4. Compliance and Standards:

• Follow all company policies, hygiene, and safety guidelines.
• Ensure grooming and personal hygiene standards are maintained.
• Participate in departmental briefings and training sessions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months – 1 year of experience in a similar role (freshers may also apply).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong guest service orientation.
• Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and service etiquette.
