Guest Relations Manager

A hospital Guest Relations Professional acts as a bridge between patients/families and staff, ensuring a positive experience by greeting visitors, handling inquiries, resolving complaints, coordinating departments (admissions/discharge), and collecting feedback, aiming to create a welcoming atmosphere and smooth patient journey through excellent communication, problem-solving, and proactive service. Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Patient & Visitor Welcome:

  Greeting all guests, guiding them, providing info on facilities/services, assisting with check-ins/outs.

• Communication Hub:

  Facilitating clear info flow between patients, families, doctors, and other hospital teams.

• Issue Resolution

  (Service Recovery):

  Promptly addressing complaints, concerns, and special requests, escalating when necessary, and ensuring satisfaction.

• Coordination:

  Liaising with housekeeping, maintenance, admissions, etc., for smooth operations.

• Feedback Management:

  Collecting and analyzing patient/visitor feedback to suggest service improvements.

• Relationship Building:

  Anticipating needs, building rapport, and personalizing experiences for patients and VIPs.

• Administrative Tasks:

  Managing records, documenting incidents, and assisting with billing/insurance queries if needed.
