Job Description

Role Overview: As a Regional Business Manager - Emerging Markets, your primary responsibility is to drive sales through yourself and a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs). You will be focusing on procuring retirement funds business from Corporate clients such as MNCs, Indian companies, banks, and state and central public sector entities across key, mega, and PSU segments within your specific region in the emerging markets vertical. Additionally, you will be involved in business development opportunities for group fund business, worksite marketing, group term insurance, and generating leads for other ABFSG entities. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure achievement of planned business targets for sales by planning and working with the team to procure retirement funds business and identify cross-sell opportunities. - Implement sales strategies and sales management processes by tracking and mentoring the team, maintaining client information, building relationships with key influencers and decision makers, and adhering to sales management processes. - Undertake relevant initiatives around business development and pipeline building by guiding the team to identify business opportunities and track competition movements. - Build relationships with key current and prospective clients by prioritizing prospects, empowering the team to complete most parts of the sales cycle independently, and providing a host of services to customers. - Develop the team by identifying training needs, imparting soft skills, selling skills, market knowledge, and understanding to ensure overall development and achievement of targets. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the financial services sector. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving sales targets. - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to interact effectively with clients, influencers, and decision makers. - Ability to adapt to different cultures and decision-making tendencies within a geographical region comprising of 5-7 states. - Knowledge of retirement funds business, group fund business, worksite marketing, and group term insurance will be advantageous. - Understanding of market sentiments, competition movements, and customer expectations to drive successful business procurement strategies.,
