Graphic Designer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Graphic Designer who is creative, detail-oriented, and flexible to experiment with new approaches. Beyond strong graphic design skills, an interest in photography is highly valued, as field imagery is central to iKure’s storytelling, brand presence, and impact communication. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, balances speed with quality, and can translate grassroots stories into powerful visual narratives.

Key Responsibilities

· Graphic Design & Branding

· Design print, digital, and social media materials aligned with iKure’s brand identity.

· Create visual assets for reports, presentations, campaigns, events, and partner communications.

· Maintain design consistency while bringing fresh creative ideas.

· Photography & Visual Storytelling

· Capture high-quality photographs during field visits and organizational activities.

· Curate and edit photos for impact reports, social campaigns, and marketing collateral.

· Collaborate with program teams to ensure field stories are visually documented and amplified.

· Multimedia & Experimentation

· Explore new formats such as motion graphics, short videos, and infographics.

· Support design requirements across platforms including social media, newsletters, websites, and donor decks.

· Adapt quickly to changing communication needs and evolving project priorities.

Qualifications & Skills

· Education: Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

· Design Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma; Lightroom/After Effects is a plus.

· Photography Skills: Composition, lighting, on-field shoots, and basic post-processing.

· Mindset & Traits:

· Flexible and eager to experiment with new creative formats.

· Strong sense of storytelling from real-world contexts.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.

· Collaborative spirit, with openness to feedback and iteration.

Work Mode & Travel

· Work Mode: Onsite at iKure’s Kolkata office (no hybrid).

· Travel: Occasional day trips for field shoots within West Bengal and nearby states as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹25,312.27 per month
