Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the companys accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory regulations, and effective management of accounts payable, receivable, and payroll. This role involves supervising the accounts team, implementing internal controls, and supporting management in financial decision-making. Role & responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS). Monitor cash flow and provide timely financial insights to management. Team Supervision & Coordination Lead and manage the accounts team, assigning tasks and reviewing work. Conduct training to improve team efficiency and skill levels. Budgeting & Forecasting Prepare annual budgets and track actual performance against budgets. Provide variance analysis and suggest corrective actions. Accounts Payable & Receivable Monitor vendor payments and customer collections to maintain healthy cash flow. Approve invoices, credit notes, and payment runs. Taxation & Compliance Oversee filing of GST, TDS, and income tax returns. Ensure adherence to statutory laws and liaise with auditors and tax consultants. Banking & Reconciliation Authorize bank reconciliations and financial adjustments. Maintain relationships with banks for smooth operations. Internal Controls & Audit Implement strong internal control systems to prevent errors and fraud. Preferred candidate profile
