Account Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
  
• Monitor cash flow and provide timely financial insights to management.
  

• Team Supervision & Coordination

• Lead and manage the accounts team, assigning tasks and reviewing work.
  
• Conduct training to improve team efficiency and skill levels.
  

• Budgeting & Forecasting

• Prepare annual budgets and track actual performance against budgets.
  
• Provide variance analysis and suggest corrective actions.
  

• Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Monitor vendor payments and customer collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
  
• Approve invoices, credit notes, and payment runs.
  

• Taxation & Compliance

• Oversee filing of GST, TDS, and income tax returns.
  
• Ensure adherence to statutory laws and liaise with auditors and tax consultants.
  

• Banking & Reconciliation

• Authorize bank reconciliations and financial adjustments.
  
• Maintain relationships with banks for smooth operations.
  

• Internal Controls & Audit

• Implement strong internal control systems to prevent errors and fraud.
