The Graphic Designer is responsible for producing high-quality visual assets that strengthen GEMGEM’s brand identity and support marketing, product, sales, and operational needs across all regions (US, Hong Kong, and India). This role demands creativity, speed, accuracy, and strong alignment with GEMGEM’s luxury positioning.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality graphics for advertising, social media, email campaigns, banners, and landing pages.
- Design visual assets for the website and mobile experience, ensuring consistency with GEMGEM’s brand guidelines.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to produce performance-driven ad creatives that convert.
- Adapt existing materials (product photos, gemstone images, certificates, diagrams) into polished marketing assets.
- Support the Product team with UI/UX graphic elements when required (icons, infographics, simple layouts, badges).
- Produce print-ready and digital materials for investors, presentations, brochures, and events.
- Maintain and evolve the visual brand identity, ensuring a luxury, trustworthy, and modern aesthetic.
- Deliver work quickly and reliably, following instructions precisely and meeting all deadlines.
3. Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating:
- Luxury brand design
- Clean modern layouts
- High-end product or jewellery-related work (a strong advantage)
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Ability to create social media creatives optimised for performance marketing (Meta, Google, Pinterest).
- Understanding of visual hierarchy, colour theory, layout, typography, and storytelling.
- Experience working with product images, retouching, and enhancement.
- Ability to deliver multiple variations quickly for A/B testing.
- Strong attention to detail; zero tolerance for careless mistakes.
- Ability to take feedback well, iterate fast, and improve continuously.
4. Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience with jewellery, luxury, or fashion brands.
- Experience with animation or motion graphics for ads.
- Familiarity with UI/UX tools (Figma or similar).
- Ability to propose concepts proactively, not only execute instructions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
