About The Role

Marmon GIC is looking for motivated fresh Mechanical Engineers. In this role, you will be given exposure to work with FEA/CFD and Design engineering projects

Position Overview

Marmon Global Innovation Center (GIC), a division of Marmon Holdings, is seeking Graduate Engineer Trainees for Simulation Center of Excellence team.

Mandatory Skills

Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering (Engineering Drawing, Mechanics/Strength of Material, Manufacturing Process, Machine Design, etc.)
Certification or Training in Hypermesh or Ansys tools
Curious nature & Self-starter who can work under minimal guidance/ supervision
Flexible in adapting quickly to changing business needs, tasks, and project priorities

Desired Skills

Experience with any of the CAD tools like SolidWorks, Catia, UG NX.
Knowledge of CFD packages such as Ansys Fluent, StarCCM+, OpenFoam.
Basic knowledge of using Microsoft Office tools, namely Excel, Word & PowerPoint

Deepen your knowledge in simulation, design and optimization using industry-leading tools like Hypermesh, Ansys, and advanced CFD packages.

Demonstrate initiative and technical proficiency to advance into roles with greater responsibility, including project leadership and technical specialization within the Simulation Center of Excellence.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical /Automotive/ Thermal or a related field
0-1 years of experience in CAE/CAD domain
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Projects involving Computational Fluid Dynamics and Finite Element analysis will be an added advantage
