Job Description

Job Title: GNSS Sales Manager – Government & Strategic Accounts

Location: [Bangalore, India]

Reporting To: Head – Business Development / Director – Sales

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic GNSS Sales Manager to lead sales and business development initiatives with Indian government organizations and strategic sectors such as HAL, ADA, ECIL, AAI, DRDO, ISRO, BEL, BDL, and other defense/public sector units. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in GNSS, PNT (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing) technologies, and an existing network within India’s aerospace, defense, and aviation ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities:

Account Management & Business Development


Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in HAL, ADA, ECIL, AAI, DRDO, and similar institutions.


Drive business opportunities for GNSS receivers, antennas, timing solutions, and allied technologies.


Track tender/RFP opportunities on government portals (e.g., GeM, eProcure) and coordinate proposal submissions.


Own and manage government sales funnel, from lead generation to order closure.


Sales Strategy & Execution


Develop and execute territory and account-specific sales plans aligned with organizational goals.


Achieve sales targets and growth objectives in assigned sectors.


Coordinate with pre-sales, product, and engineering teams for technical enablement and solution positioning.


Technical Sales & Solutioning


Understand customer requirements in avionics, defense systems, UAVs, PNT systems, and integrate with GNSS products.


Provide technical presentations, product demos, and proof-of-concept support for key projects.


Government & Compliance Engagement


Navigate procurement procedures, vendor registration, and technical evaluation processes in defense and PSUs.


Maintain necessary documentation for compliance with defense procurement, MAKE-II, and indigenization programs.


Market Intelligence & Reporting


Monitor trends in the GNSS and navigation ecosystem within government and public sector.


Provide regular updates to senior management on pipeline, forecasts, competitor activity, and customer feedback.


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Aerospace, Instrumentation, or related technical field.


5–10 years of experience in B2G (business-to-government) sales; preferably in GNSS, defense electronics, or aerospace sectors.


Strong understanding of GNSS technology, SBAS, RTK, INS, and PNT solutions.


Prior experience working with or selling to government organizations like HAL, DRDO, AAI, BEL, or similar.
