Key Responsibilities
1. Costing & BOM Governance
- Maintain and validate BOMs and standard costs for all SKUs.
- Conduct recipe costing and simulations for festivals and new launches.
- Review overhead absorption and production cost allocation.
2. Yield, Wastage & Variance Management
- Compare actual yield vs standard and investigate variances.
- Drive continuous improvement with Production and QA teams.
3. Inventory & Consumption Control
- Ensure FIFO and RM/SFG/FG accuracy.
- Oversee monthly stock reconciliations.
- Lead monthly physical stock counts.
- Validate consumption accuracy through ERP.
4. Manufacturing MIS & Reporting
- Publish periodical production MIS.
- Prepare monthly Plant P&L and cost variance bridges.
- Analyse manpower, overheads, and production efficiency.
5. Capex, Opex & Project Finance
- Review new equipment proposals and evaluate ROI.
- Track capex budget vs actual.
- Analyse opex trends and drive cost optimisation.
6. ERP, Controls & Automation
- Ensure accurate master data (items, BOMs, yields).
- Support ERP and automation projects.
- Strengthen internal controls for P2P, consumption, and inventory.
7. Team Leadership
- Build capability within costing, plant finance, and yield teams.
- Conduct reviews, provide guidance, and assign KPIs.
