Job Description

Qualification: CA

Exp: 15+ years

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze various provisions of Direct Tax, including Withholding Tax and TDS regulations.
Manage quarterly tax provisions for listed entities, including evaluation of contingent liabilities.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Direct Tax laws, with a strong focus on SEZ/IT Park-related assessments and litigation.
Apply analytical skills in tax planning, optimization, and structuring of transactions.
Compute tax liabilities and prepare tax returns, ensuring full compliance with statutory payment, reporting, and documentation requirements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with business units and Shared Services to address technical tax-related queries.
Supervise tax compliances including timely filing of returns, tax audits, credits, and payments.
Ensure adherence to statutory and audit compliances related to all tax transactions.
Coordinate with statutory auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and resolution of tax issues.
Exposure to Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance and handling will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of Direct Tax laws and regulations.
Experience with taxation and litigation processes.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Prior experience in a similar role within a listed entity preferred.
