Job Title: Finance Manager – Media Industry

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager with strong expertise in billing, Profit & Loss management, taxation, TDS, fund flow management, and hands-on knowledge of traffic, scheduling, and distribution in the media industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting the commercial aspects related to media distribution and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management & Reporting:
• Oversee billing processes ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing for clients and partners.
• Prepare and analyze monthly P&L statements and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor fund flow to ensure optimal cash management and liquidity.
• Taxation & Compliance:
• Manage all tax-related matters including TDS deductions, filings, and compliance with statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants to ensure adherence to tax laws and timely submissions.
• Media Traffic & Scheduling Support:
• Collaborate with the traffic and scheduling teams to align financial tracking with broadcast schedules and ad placements.
• Monitor and report on the revenue realization related to media scheduling and distribution contracts.
• Distribution Finance Coordination:
• Handle financial aspects related to content distribution, including royalty calculations, revenue sharing, and contract management.
• Analyze distribution channel performance and profitability.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities aligned with operational and strategic goals.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities within media operations and propose corrective measures.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field (MBA/CA preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, preferably within the media or entertainment industry.
• Strong understanding of billing processes, P&L management, taxation, and TDS compliance.
• Experience managing fund flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Familiarity with media traffic, scheduling, and distribution finance is highly desirable
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel; ERP experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
