Job Description

As a Solutions Leader in Sales Operations with expertise in CPQ, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions to address customer challenges and drive market growth for Cognizant. Collaborating closely with market leaders, you will be instrumental in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including both proactive sales initiatives in strategic growth areas and reactive pursuits that involve solution development, RFP responses, and pricing strategies. In this dynamic role, you will act as a key individual within our rapidly growing practice, engaging with leaders in the technology industry. To excel in this position, you must showcase a range of essential skills, such as creative thinking, strong people and relationship management abilities, and effective collaboration across cross-functional teams. Your excellent communication skills, both written and oral, will be crucial, along with outstanding presentation skills for delivering compelling pitches to stakeholders and senior leadership. The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential, supported by strong time management capabilities to handle multiple deals concurrently. Proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling is integral to this role, as is a proactive and hands-on approach with a willingness to take ownership. You should also demonstrate proven experience in managing diverse teams across various locations, along with a track record in leading solutions for medium to large RFPs. To be successful in this position, you should bring a wealth of experience in the BPO industry, with a minimum of 15+ years in Sales and Business Development, and at least 8+ years in managing BPO operations. Your background should also include 5 to 6 years of experience in Business Development, Solutions, Outbound sales, Sales & Marketing, Lead to Order, Sales Ops, and CPQ operations. A bachelor's degree is required, while an MBA is preferred, along with experience in managing P&L, financial modeling, business analytics, operational SLAs, and key metrics. Additionally, familiarity with AIML and Generative AI solutions, negotiating contracts, and vendor relationship management is advantageous for this role.
