Geotechnical Operation Apply Now Geologist Field Position Name : Geologist Field No. of vaccancies : 2 Division/ Department : Geotechnical and Foundation (Geotechnical Operations) HO + Project Site Experience : 2 Years Qualification : B.E. Civil / M. Tech Geology Job Responsibilities : When deployed at base To review the tender document to understand the project requirement To collect geology of the proposed project area and to understand the difficulties at project site. To assess the availability of field & lab equipment against the client s requirement To assess the type of marine spread with assisting crafts required based on the assessment and those availability To propose the purchase/hire/consultancy services and manpower requirement to the Project Manager To muster and mobilise the equipment and manpower at site To liaise with client under Project Manager s guidance To manage the logistic arrangements To collect the field data from the site To prepare field and final reports for submission to the client When deployed at site To position the vessel/jack-up at the proposed investigation location To participate in the sample collection, onboard lab testing, sample packing and inventory preparation To coordinate with Driller, Geo-Tool Operator / CPT Operator, Lab Engineer to execute the field ops successfully. To liaise with client under Party Chief s guidance To manage the logistic arrangements to reach the soil samples to the laboratory
