Position Overview:

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Optimize RAG Models:

• Design, implement, and fine-tune RAG models to improve information retrieval and generation in AI systems.
• Experiment with various chunking and retrieval strategies to enhance model performance.

Integrate AI Frameworks and Tools:

• Utilize AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers in model development.
• Implement solutions using LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API, or custom retrieval architectures.

Manage and Utilize Vector Databases:

• Work with vector databases like FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, or ChromaDB to store and retrieve contextual embeddings efficiently.

Collaborate on AI Deployments:

• Deploy scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into production systems.

Engage in Continuous Learning and Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, NLP, and retrieval-augmented generation techniques.
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in Python and experience with AI frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, NLP, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval.
• Hands-on experience with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB).

Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API, or custom retrieval architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for scalable AI deployments.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning (RLHF) is a plus.
• Proficiency in C# .NET and web development is advantageous but not mandatory.
