Generative AI Engineer

You are a talented Generative AI Engineer with 14 years of experience, specializing in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Prompt Engineering. Joining the AI/ML team, you will be responsible for designing, fine-tuning, and optimizing AI models for various real-world applications such as content generation, conversational AI, summarization, and code generation. Your passion for cutting-edge AI technologies will drive you to build intelligent systems that make a meaningful impact. Your key responsibilities will include developing, fine-tuning, and optimizing Generative AI models, especially LLMs like GPT, LLaMA, Claude, Mistral, or similar. You will design, experiment with, and refine prompts for various LLM-based use cases and evaluate model performance through benchmarks, A/B testing, and human-in-the-loop feedback mechanisms. Integrating LLMs with internal tools and external APIs to enable scalable real-world applications will be crucial, along with collaborating with cross-functional teams to build, test, and deploy AI-powered features. Your role will involve researching emerging trends in generative AI, maintaining best practices in data handling, model evaluation, prompt libraries, and documentation, and contributing to internal knowledge-sharing sessions on prompt tuning, model behavior, and model hallucination mitigation. You should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field and possess hands-on experience in AI/ML/NLP, with at least 1 year specifically in LLMs or Generative AI. Proficiency in Python and popular ML libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, OpenAI APIs, etc., is essential. Experience in designing and optimizing prompts for LLMs, understanding model behavior, prompt tuning, and techniques for reducing hallucinations, as well as familiarity with vector databases and RESTful APIs are required. Preferred skills include experience with fine-tuning open-source LLMs, familiarity with tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, and knowledge of multi-modal AI or voice assistants. Published projects or GitHub repos showcasing LLM use cases or prompt engineering work are considered advantageous.
