General Manager

Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing overall business operations, driving profitability, and ensuring the organization’s strategic goals are met. This role involves leadership across departments, operational excellence, financial performance management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business strategies aligned with company objectives
• Lead, mentor, and manage department heads and senior staff
• Foster a performance-driven, collaborative organizational culture
• Represent the company with key stakeholders, partners, and clients

Operations Management

• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance
• Implement process improvements to optimize productivity and costs
• Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and safety requirements

Financial Management

• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
• Monitor financial performance, KPIs, and profitability metrics
• Control operational costs and improve revenue growth

Sales & Customer Experience

• Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive growth
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality
• Address major customer issues and escalations

Reporting & Governance

• Prepare regular performance reports for senior leadership/board
• Ensure strong governance, risk management, and internal controls

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
• MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
• 5 years of progressive management experience
• Proven experience managing P&L and leading cross-functional teams
