Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager – Sales to lead and expand the sales and distribution operations for Boche Brahmi Tea. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in the FMCG sector, preferably within the tea industry, with a strong background in developing distributor networks, driving sales growth, and executing innovative promotional campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, market share, and distribution expansion targets.
  • Build, strengthen, and expand the distributor network across regions to ensure deep market penetration.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the sales team to enhance performance and achieve set KPIs.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor promotional campaigns such as lucky draws, scratch-and-win offers, consumer engagement programs, and retail activations to boost sales and brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design trade promotions and retail programs tailored to market needs.
  • Continuously analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, trade partners, and retailers.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance, and ethical business practices in all sales operations.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in a senior sales management role, preferably in FMCG (Tea industry experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge and network within the FMCG distributor ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of successfully scaling distribution networks and expanding market presence.
  • Hands-on experience in planning and executing promotional campaigns like lucky draws, scratch-and-win schemes, loyalty programs, and trade incentives.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and expanding high-performance sales teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical, target-driven, and adaptable to dynamic market conditions.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
