Job Description

Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors across multiple projects (residential, commercial, infrastructure, etc.).
Develop and maintain cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and detailed budgets.
Oversee the tendering process — including vendor selection, bid evaluation, and negotiations.
Manage contracts, contract risk, variations, claims, and final account settlements.
Implement cost-control measures and value engineering strategies to optimize project costs.
Monitor project cost performance and produce commercial reports / MIS for senior leadership.
Establish and evolve QS processes, tools, and best practices.
Collaborate with procurement, project management, finance, design, and operations teams.
Provide leadership and mentoring for junior QS staff.
Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
Forecast and manage financial risk, cash flows, and cost contingencies.

Qualification & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Management (Master’s preferred).
18-22years of experience required.
Deep expertise in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, contract management, and final account.
Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
Excellent analytical, financial, and commercial acumen.
Proficient in QS software / cost management tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Experience in handling multiple simultaneous projects.
