Job Description

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the sales team to achieve company sales targets, expand market presence, develop new distributors/super stockists, and ensure effective execution of sales and marketing strategies across assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Management
  • Lead, motivate, and guide Area Sales Executives (ASEs), Sales Officers (SOs), and Sales Representatives (SRs).
  • Monitor daily field activities, productivity, and performance of the sales team.
  • Sales Target Achievement
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned region.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase primary and secondary sales.
  • Market Expansion & Distribution Management
  • Identify and appoint new distributors, dealers, and super stockists (SS).
  • Ensure product availability and visibility in all potential outlets.
  • Reporting & Coordination
  • Ensure timely submission of Daily Sales Reports (DSR) and expense reports.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts, Dispatch, and HR departments for smooth operations.
  • Customer Relationship & Brand Development
  • Build strong relationships with trade partners, distributors, and key retailers.
  • Handle market grievances and resolve issues promptly.
  • Planning & Execution
  • Prepare PJP (Tour Plan) and ensure team adherence.
  • Conduct market visits and joint working with team members.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Graduate / MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
  • 5–8 years of experience in FMCG / Food & Beverage / Consumer Goods sales.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Good knowledge of distribution networks and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting formats, and CRM tools.

  • Achievement of sales and collection targets
  • New distributor / SS appointment and activation
  • Market coverage and outlet growth
  • Team performance and reporting discipline
  • Execution of company policies and field plans
