About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee administrative operations, site coordination, vendor management, and project execution within the real estate/construction domain. The candidate will act as a key linking point between management, vendors, clients, and government authorities to ensure smooth operations, project progress, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Administration & Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day office administration, workflow, and resource planning.
  • Ensure smooth operational management across departments and project sites.
  • Develop and implement policies, standard operating procedures, and compliance frameworks.
  • Maintain reports, documentation, approvals, and communication records.

Project & Site Management

  • Monitor project progress, timelines, manpower deployment, and quality of execution at project sites.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, architects, and purchase teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Conduct site visits to review work status, safety, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Resolve operational challenges and escalate key issues to management timely.

Client, Vendor & Government Liaison

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, stakeholders, and statutory authorities.
  • Handle vendor negotiations, contract finalization, material procurement, and payment coordination.
  • Facilitate approvals, permits, licensing, and compliance documentation where required.

People & Team Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and guide project and operational teams.
  • Ensure proper team coordination and timely reporting across functions.
  • Conduct performance evaluation, staff supervision, and team restructuring as required.

Budgeting & Reporting

  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, purchase planning, and operational forecasting. 

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Proven experience in real estate, construction, infrastructure, or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of project execution, administrative processes, and government liaison.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, project tracking tools, and reporting formats.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • MBA or additional management certification will be an added advantage
