About Mag Marine

Mag Marine Services Pvt Ltd is one of India’s fastest-growing shipbuilding and ship repair companies, trusted by the Indian Navy and leading shipyards. Since our founding in 2022, we’ve delivered piping, hull, electrical, and turnkey projects across Chennai, Mangalore, Vizag, and Kochi.

We are now evolving into a corporate structure and looking for a proven leader who can take ownership of projects and grow into the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) in the coming years.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead shipyard projects across piping, hull, electrical, and outfitting.

• Manage site engineers, supervisors, and 50–100 workforce effectively.

• Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality/safety standards.

• Coordinate with Navy, shipyards, and clients as operational lead.

• Oversee manpower allocation, resource planning, and procurement follow-up.

• Report directly to CEO and prepare structured weekly MIS updates.

• Build systems and processes (SOPs, reporting, ERP implementation).

• Be a second-in-command who can take charge in the CEO’s absence.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8–15 years experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, oil & gas, or heavy fabrication projects.

• Strong leadership background managing engineers, supervisors & workforce.

• Proven track record of project delivery under pressure.

• Knowledge of piping (inch-dia, spools), hull, welding, QC, and safety protocols.

• Hands-on experience with client interactions (Navy/shipyard preferred).

• Self-driven, disciplined, and ready to take ownership beyond just engineering.

• Ambition to grow into a COO role within 1–2 years.

What We Offer
