Job Description

A General Manager (Sales) is a leadership position responsible for overseeing all sales activities and achieving revenue targets within a specific business unit or organization. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing sales teams, building customer relationships, and analyzing market trends. Essentially, the General Manager (Sales) acts as a strategic leader driving sales growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution:Developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Team Leadership & Management:Recruiting, training, and motivating sales teams to achieve individual and collective targets.
  • Sales Performance Management:Monitoring sales performance, analyzing data, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Relationship Building:Cultivating strong relationships with key clients and partners to foster long-term business growth.
  • Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification:Staying abreast of market trends and identifying new opportunities for sales growth.
  • Budget Management:Managing the sales budget effectively and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Collaboration:Working closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development) to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Customer Satisfaction:Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing any issues or complaints.
  • Reporting & Communication:Providing regular reports on sales performance and key metrics to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sales Expertise:Proven experience in sales management, including a strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and techniques.
  • Leadership & Management:Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a sales team effectively.
  • Strategic Thinking:Ability to develop and implement sales strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Analytical Skills:Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships, motivate teams, and present information to stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen:Understanding of business principles, financial management, and market dynamics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹21,756.27 - ₹86,866.51 per month

Schedule:
