Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Ensure sequential arrival of material and resources at the site.
Ensuring health & hygienic stay of the large workforce and compliance to their PF & ESI
Ensuring proper storage & issue of materials to the contractor
Ensure release of sequential work fronts from civil dept.
Ensure sequential flow of construction drawings at site.
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Provision of safe working platforms to all equipment
Handover the plant to Operating team with the finger-print data of machines, critical spares, special tools & tackles and through protocols.
Ensure proper closing of punch points.
Prepare all documents pertaining to contract closing

Key Responsibilities

Erection and commissioning of Boiler pressure parts, Structure, APH, Fans, mills, Ducting etc.
Successful commissioning of all systems while delivering PG test parameters
Ensure proper QA QC standards are followed in site.
Responsible for IBR approvals of drawings & documents, conducting ground inspections, hydraulic tests as per IBR regulations, obtaining boiler license etc.

Preferred candidate profile

Total Experience of 20 years or more in thermal plants
Minimum 10 years in management of Boiler & Auxiliaries in large Power Project.
Experience with 600 MW or higher size is a must
