Job Description

As a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) leader at EY, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the PAN GDS FP&A function across Nine countries. Your responsibilities will span strategic decision-making, business budgeting and planning, forecasting, business performance analysis, leadership development, and more. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to defining the strategy for the business unit and collaborate closely with key stakeholders. - Provide decision support analysis from a financial strategies perspective. - Ensure alignment of Finance objectives with organization/business goals. - Support strategic/business improvement initiatives such as Acquisition, GDS cost optimization, Process improvements, and innovations. Business Budgeting/Planning and Forecasting: - Translate strategy into budget/planning and set measurable targets. - Oversee and manage the business budget and forecast process. - Evaluate financial implications of strategic decisions, build scenarios, and recommend actions. Business Performance: - Deliver monthly Financial performance analysis reports with actionable insights. - Monitor progress and provide analysis to support decision-making. - Drive cost structure and productivity optimization. Leadership and Behavioral Competencies: - Demonstrate effective leadership by fostering an inclusive culture and high-performing teams. - Lead teams in diverse contexts, drive inclusivity, and build relationships with stakeholders. - Utilize influencing skills to navigate ambiguity and build consensus. - Exhibit strong communication, articulation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. People Leadership and Development: - Organize, staff, skill, and direct the GDS Global FP&A team. - Guide, motivate, and develop the team within GDS Talent guidelines. Qualifications: - CA or equivalent; post-graduation is desirable. - 16+ years of relevant experience in big four accounting firms or large multinational companies. - Minimum 8 years of senior management experience. - Preferred experience in a cross-border, virtual environment. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
