Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Dataform, and Pub/Sub.
• Build, optimize, and manage scalable ETL/ELT processes and ensure efficient data flow across systems.
• Develop and deploy Python-based solutions, scripts, and automation frameworks.
• Implement API development and ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of APIs and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into business-critical applications.
• Apply DevOps practices: manage source control (Git), automate deployments, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, data reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to architectural discussions on data infrastructure, scalability, and cloud adoption.
  

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with GCP services: BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Dataform, Pub/Sub.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices: Git, CI/CD workflows.
• Solid understanding of data engineering concepts: data modeling, pipeline orchestration, streaming & batch processing.
• Experience with API development and building scalable integration layers.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with ElasticSearch (setup, optimization, and integration).
• Background in data infrastructure scalability and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, observability, and cost management on GCP.
