The FSRR Technology Solutions group provide a wide range of innovative technology solutions supporting the production of financial statement deliverables and regulatory reporting returns. As a core member of our Financial Statement and Regulatory Reporting technology development team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon. Responsible for the development, implementation, and support of post-NAV reporting products. Development of creative solutions and process enhancements utilizing a wide range of tools including Excel, Power Query, VBA, Python and other technologies. Provide support for existing technologies by troubleshooting and providing solutions for support requests raised through the IT Ticketing System, Prepares technically detailed documentation for user instructions, production processes, and otherprogramming documentation. Identify errors or problems and independently investigate; recommend solutions to team members orsupervisors. Continuously monitor tools and templates to ensure any malfunctions are immediatelyrecognized and corrected. Define business requirements for development items by meeting with end users to identify process enhancements. This position provides the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of CFS personnelboth within and outside FSRR to determine viable technology solutions which meet end user requirements. Must keep up with the latest technology relating to reporting, industry knowledge and software usedto perform the job. This involves attending relevant trainings when necessary, reading the latest literature, and ensuring skills and/or certifications are up-to date. Present to or exchange product updates and developments internally, with clients and outside auditors Work under limited supervision. Plan own work. Suggest methods and procedures for new work assignments, reviewing with the Technology Solutions management for input or approval. Assist in designing training courses and programs necessary to allow end users to effectively use the tools and templates. Provide guidance to team members to motivate and help strengthen specific knowledge areas needed to accomplish team goals. Two to three years of relevant professional experience using and supporting data processing tools and templates. Experience working in asset management in either an Audit Firm, Hedge Fund, Hedge Fund Administrator or other financial institution where the candidate gained financial products knowledge would be an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Visual Basic, Power Query Application in addition to a knowledge of Python Programming and Structured Query Language (SQL). Professional experience analyzing, designing, programming, troubleshooting, resolving technical problems associated with reporting tools and templates. Experience or knowledge of the Agile development framework. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Economics, with course work in Visual Basic or other computer programming. Good communication and writing skills.
