Position Overview:

Funds Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Crowdfunding & Fundraising

  • Develop and manage crowdfunding strategies and donor relations to support institutional projects.
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities through CSR, grants, or partnerships.
  • Maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and funding partners.

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee and monitor the financial health of all educational units under AJ India Alliances.
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and reports for management review.
  • Implement effective financial control systems to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory regulations, audits, and organisational policies.

Fund Planning & Allocation

  • Plan, allocate, and manage funds for schools and colleges as per approved budgets.
  • Track utilisation of funds and ensure optimal cash flow management.
  • Identify areas for cost optimisation and revenue enhancement.

Financial Modelling & Analysis

  • Prepare detailed financial models to support new educational projects, expansions, and collaborations.
  • Conduct financial forecasting, scenario analysis, and ROI evaluations for strategic decisions.

Coordination & Liaison

  • Act as the primary liaison between the head office finance team and the finance departments of schools/colleges.
  • Coordinate with Principals, Administrative Heads, and management for timely fund flow and reporting.
  • Present financial performance summaries and recommendations to senior management.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field (MBA in Finance or CA preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the education sector or a multi-unit organisation.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and compliance.
  • Experience in crowdfunding, financial modelling, and fundraising will be an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
