Position Overview:

Academic In-Charge

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Planning & Leadership:

  • Provide direction and academic leadership across all schools and colleges under AJ India Alliances.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor academic policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with CBSE, university, or regulatory norms.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment systems across institutions.

2. Faculty Management & Development:

  • Oversee faculty recruitment, orientation, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Identify training needs and organize regular professional development programs, workshops, and skill enhancement sessions for teachers.
  • Encourage innovative teaching methodologies and best practices in classroom instruction.

3. Academic Monitoring & Quality Assurance:

  • Track and review academic performance, results, and learning outcomes of each institution under the group.
  • Conduct periodic audits, classroom observations, and feedback sessions to ensure adherence to academic goals.
  • Recommend corrective actions and continuous improvement plans for underperforming departments.

4. Coordination & Communication:

  • Act as the academic link between individual institutions and the Head Office.
  • Work closely with Principals, Coordinators, and Academic Heads to streamline processes and resolve academic challenges.
  • Prepare and present regular academic reports and updates to senior management.

5. Administrative Oversight:

  • Support schools and colleges in timetable planning, examination scheduling, and policy implementation.
  • Coordinate with administrative and HR teams for staffing, budgeting, and compliance matters related to academics.
  • Ensure alignment of academic operations with institutional goals and regulatory frameworks.

6. Innovation & Development:

  • Promote digital learning, technology integration, and modern teaching aids in classrooms.
  • Support the introduction of new programs, subjects, or co-scholastic initiatives to enhance learning experiences.
  • Stay updated on educational trends, policies, and reforms to keep AJ India Alliances educational institutions competitive and progressive.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Education, Management, or a related academic discipline (Ph.D. preferred).
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in academic administration, preferably in a group of schools/colleges or educational network.
  • Strong understanding of school/college operations, CBSE or university norms, and educational best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple institutions and teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office and educational management systems (LMS/ERP).
