You will be joining the Projects India organization in the engineering and quality team as an I&C Engineer. In this role, you will provide deep instrumentation and controls engineering expertise, oversight, judgment, and support to Production & Operations (P&O) Projects. Additionally, experience with EPC environment on major projects, decision-making skills, effective communication abilities, and experience in design and implementation of control and safety systems are required. Preferred qualifications include being a Chartered Engineer or Registered Professional Engineer and holding a Functional Safety Engineer certification from TUV, Exida, or equivalent. At Group Trucks Technology Electro-mobility Bangalore, we are currently looking for a Lead Verification Engineer to join our team. We build virtual models that help in creating world-class solutions for electro-mobility systems and delivering customer values for Volvo business units such as trucks, buses, construction equipment and marine applications. We believe in front loading development activities during early phase for optimized performance and Cost through analysis, insights and recommendations. We understand the customer usage and performance of our products, for providing solutions throughout entire product life cycle, from idea investigation and concept evaluation to industrialization and maintenance. We build high fidelity models for System performance prediction/optimization, right sizing and digital twin. We work with cross-functional teams from different parts of the entity, from sales, data, regulation and development teams. Who are you? We are seeking a skilled Software Component Verification and Integration Verification Engineer to ensure the reliability and quality of software components in automotive systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in software verification techniques and methodologies, with a solid understanding of the ASPICE framework and experience in safety-critical systems. Key Responsibilities : Analyze and interpret software requirements and design documents to develop e ective verification strategies. Elicit, analyse, and document software requirements from system requirements. Develop and implement comprehensive software verification plans, with a focus on safety-critical systems. Utilize advanced verification techniques, including model-based testing, formal methods, and fault injection. Execute software verification plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex automotive software systems. Apply static analysis, dynamic analysis, and code coverage analysis to enhance software quality. Identify, analyze, and report software defects with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Lead and mentor a team of software verification engineers, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices. Functions to be worked upon: Electric Propulsion System, Charging, Battery management system, Traction Voltage e.t.c Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, system engineering, and quality assurance. Knowledge of ISO 26262 - Functional Safety is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Required Skills & Experience: 12+ years of experience in automotive software testing. Hands-on experience with MIL/SIL testing in automotive applications. Strong knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink. Experience in software requirements engineering. Knowledge of Python, CAPL and other scripting languages. Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, or similar tools for vehicle communication analysis. Familiarity with EV architecture, electric powertrain systems, BMS, OBC and MDS testing is a plus.
